The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) has announced dates for ARS 2017 (preliminary) and NET (I)-2018 examinations. The combined examination for both will happen between April 6th to 13th. Both the examinations will be online tests conducted across India in 23 centers. The ARS 2017 MAINS will happen on 24th June.
Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Exams: Post, Pay Scale & Eligibility
‘The selected candidates will be appointed as scientists in Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). They will get monthly salary of Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100, along with a grade pay of Rs 6,000 per month. The applicant must has masters degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline along with specialization. Candidates in the age group 21 till 32 years can apply.
National Eligibility Test (NET) Exams: Post, Pay Scale & Eligibility
The NET qualifiers will be appointed as lecturer/assistant professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs). The applicant must has masters degree in the concerned discipline along with specialization.
