Award Prizes to Student Securing Higher Rank launched by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (Department of Scheduled Caste Welfare) Government of Gujarat. A scheme introduced with an aim to encourage scheduled caste students to continue their higher studies and score well in forthcoming exams. Even financial assistance given under this scheme can help poor students to reduce financial burden while studying. This scheme provides the award of prizes to the student who gets first, second and third-ranked students amongst Scheduled Caste students in 10^th and 12^th Board exam. An initiative of Gujarat government helping many topper students in the state to complete higher education. All student resident of Gujarat can avail benefits under this scheme. To know more about the scheme and obtain application form students can visit nearest scheduled caste welfare office or social welfare office or head of the institution.

Benefits of Award Prizes to Student Securing Higher Rank in Gujarat:

• Award Prizes to Student Securing Higher Rank has introduced with a view to encouraging scheduled caste students to score well in forthcoming exams and pursue higher education. Scheme provided benefits in the form of financial assistance to such topper students
• Benefits to SSC or 10^th board rankers
• Students secured 1^st rank among scheduled caste get: Rs. 41,000
• Students secured 2^nd rank among scheduled caste get: Rs. 21,000
• Students secured 3^rd rank among scheduled caste get: Rs. 11,000
• Benefits to HSC or 12^th board rankers
• Students secured 1^st rank among scheduled caste get: Rs. 31,000
• Students secured 2^nd rank among scheduled caste get: Rs. 21,000
• Students secured 3^rd rank among scheduled caste get: Rs. 11,000

Required eligibility and conditions applying for Award Prizes to Student Securing Higher Rank:

1. Students resident of Gujarat are eligible
2. Students secured 1^st or 2^nd or 3^rd rank in 10^th or 12^th among scheduled caste students are eligible to get benefits of scheme
3. Students belong to Scheduled Caste are eligible

Required documents for Award Prizes to Student Securing Higher Rank:

1. Identity proof: Aadhar card, Voter ID, College ID etc.
2. Residence proof: PAN card, Residence certificate etc.
3. 10^th mark sheet
4. 12^th mark sheet
5. Aadhar card
6. Passport size photograph
7. Bank details e.g. Account number, IFSC, MICR code
8. Caste certificate

Application procedure:

1. No application procedure is there to get benefits of scheme since 10^th and 12^th board topper is identified by government and provided prizes
