CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for 10th pass single girl child: How to apply & renew at cbse.nic.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSC) has started scholarship for 10th pass (plus 2) single girl child. The objective of the scholarship scheme is to make sure girls continue their education after tenth class, provide equal opportunities to girls and empower them. Monthly financial assistance is provided under the CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child. The scheme is applicable only to the girls who are single child in their family and who has passed 10th class with more than 60% marks.

What is CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child? A scholarship scheme by CBSE board for meritorious girls who are single child of their parent and has passed CBSE 10th exams with more than 60% marks.

CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme Objectives:

• To make sure girls study after 10th class
• To provide equal opportunities to girls
• To provide financial support to the girls families
• To empower girls with education

CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child Benefits: 

• Scholarship of Rs. 6,000 per year i.e. Rs. 500 every month
• The scholarship will be given on monthly basis Rs. 500 per month
• The scholarship will be directed deposited into the bank account
• The scholarship is given only for two years in 11th and 12th

CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Student Eligibility:

• The scheme is applicable only to the girls who are single child of their parents
• The scheme is applicable only for the girls only
• The scholarship is applicable only to girls passing CBSE 10th exam only
• The scholarship is given only if the girl continues her education and take admission to 11th and 12th class
• The scholarship is renewed in 12th only if girl scores 11th with 50% and more marks
• Good conduct and regular attendance is must for the scholarship

Documents Required for Application/Renewal:

• Class 10th mark sheet for application (attested copy)
• Class 11th mark sheet for renewal (attested copy)
• Copy of AADHAAR card of the student
• Copy of bank passbook or canceled cheque
• Completely filled form along with principal`s signature
• Passport size photograph

STEP 1: CLICK HERE to go to the CBSE official scholarships portal

STEP 2: Enter your roll number and date of birth as mentioned in your class 10th marksheet and click on Proceed button

STEP 3: Now you will get scholarship application form, fill the complete form carefully and completely and proceed

STEP 4: Note down the registration number

STEP 5: Print the Guideline Document

STEP 6: Paste your photograph and get it attested from the school/college

STEP 7: Prepare affidavit as mentioned in the Guideline Document (CLICK HERE to download affidavit)

STEP 8: Scan all the document along with affidavit

STEP 9: Go to the Upload Document section and upload all the documents

STEP 10: Submit the application and print Confirmation Page or CLICK HERE
