On April 11, 2021 the Union Home Minister Amit Shah planned and promised ‘Chief Minister’s Refugee Welfare Scheme’ for all the refugees in West Bengal. This scheme would come into implementation if BJP government wins the elections in West Bengal. Under this scheme every girl from the refugees will be provided education from Kindergarten to Post Graduate free of cost. This scheme will encourage the girl students to pursue higher studies. It will tend to empower them and make them independent. Rs. 10,000 will be provided to the farmers every year in their bank accounts for their welfare. Various initiatives will be undertaken thereby contributing to the overall betterment and welfare of the state.

Objectives and Benefits:

- Chief Minister’s Refugee Welfare scheme is planned and announced by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the betterment of refugees and the overall state of West Bengal
