Delhi University Admissions 2018: direct admission to 50% of the post graduate courses & remaining through entrance exams

The Delhi University (DU) announced the admission process for the admissions to the Post Graduate courses. The admissions will be conducted in two categories this year. 50% of the seats will be filled by giving preference to the Delhi University students through direct admissions on the merit basis and hence students from the other universities will not be able to apply for the 50% intake for the PG courses. The remaining 50% seats will be filled based on the entrance exam and interview or group discussions. Whereas DU students can apply for both direct admissions on the merit basis and entrance exam.

Delhi University Admissions (PG Courses) Entrance Exam Pattern: The entrance exam will have a paper with 100 questions and the duration of the examination will be 2 hours.

Interested students needs to register themselves on the Delhi University (DU) official portal before 6th June
Those who wants to apply for more than one PG courses will have to fill different application forms
Applicants just needs to register once but fill in separate application forms and pays corresponding application fees for each of the courses
Applicant students also needs to provide their college preferences

Registration fee for SC/ST/PwD : Rs. 250 for each course
Registration fee for all other categories (Unreserved, OBC etc): Rs. 500 for each course
