Electric Pump/Oil Pump Scheme for Tribal Farmers in Maharashtra

The government of Maharashtra has introduced the scheme to supply electric pump or oil pump for tribal farmers in Maharashtra. The scheme is implemented by the department of tribal development Maharashtra. Under this scheme, the government has to provide agriculture tools and energy for tribal farmers to get agriculture land under irrigation, to provide 100% subsidy on the electric pump or oil pump for tribal farmers. In this scheme, state government provides 3 or 5 HP electric pump or oil pump for tribal farmers. The agriculture land available under Tribal sub-plan area of the state and tribal farmers at least minimum 1.5 acres and maximum 16 acres of land are able to get benefits from this scheme. The tribal farmers in Maharashtra state are eligible for electric pump or oil pump scheme. Tribal farmers are required to have their farm sink or water channels to the farm at least for six months water resource for this scheme. Tribal farmers should have own land to get benefits of the electric pump or oil pump. Under the scheme, the government provide electric pump for village or town who have present electric power supply and the government provide oil pump for village or town which is not having electric power supply

Eligibility for Electric Pump/Oil Pump for Tribal Farmers in Maharashtra:

1. A tribal farmer is eligible for this scheme
2. A farmer who has farm sink or water channels are eligible for electric pump or oil pump
3. A farmer should have own agriculture land
4. A group of tribal farmers is eligible for this scheme
5. Electric power supply in village or town are eligible for electric pump
6. Electric power supply is not present in village or town is eligible for oil pump

2. Applicant 7/12
3. Applicant caste certificate
4. Applicant bank account details

Application procedure:

1. Tribal farmers should contact tribal development officer and Integrated Tribal Development Project for applications details
2. Tribal farmers also contact Maharashtra Tribal Development Co-operative Corporation for electric pump or oil pump
