Financial Assistance for the Students of Industrial Training Institute is started by Maharashtra State Government (Ministry of Social Justice and Welfare) ST & SC Development and Minority & Other Backward Classes Welfare Department. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe students studying at Industrial Training Institute to enable them to complete their education. This scheme will provide better opportunities for increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability and empowerment through education and increase of the socio-economic conditions of the SC and ST communities. These assistance are available for studies in India only and are awarded by the Government of Maharashtra. The tribe student lack in the industrial training courses. There are many opportunity for Jobs or self-employment to students who take technical education. This education is done after class 8th or 10th, but this education is not degree course because of this the students cannot get the help of other scholarships scheme and this education take more money than other courses. That’s why to encourage Industrial training among tribes the government of Maharashtra started this scheme.
