उत्तराखंड में रोग के उपचार के लिए स्वास्थ्य सब्सिडी योजना (हिन्दी में)
To provide health care subsidy for the treatment of disease for Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes category people, Government of Uttarakhand (Social Welfare Department) has launched Health Subsidy Scheme in Uttarakhand state. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs. 10,000/- for the treatment of critical illness to the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes who belongs to below poverty line (BPL) family. The main objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to patients who are living below poverty line and suffering from major life-threatening diseases. For getting benefits of the scheme, an applicant needs to get an approval of the official medical officer on the prescribed application form. Many of the families in the Uttarakhand state cannot afford medical expenses and to treat the patients in the hospital. Regarding this, Uttarakhand government took very good initiative for Treatment of Disease in the state
Benefits of Health Subsidy Scheme:
- The government provides financial assistance of Rs. 10,000/- for the treatment of critical illness to the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes who belongs to below poverty line (BPL) family
Eligibility for Health Subsidy Scheme:
- Applicant should be resident of Uttarakhand
- Applicant should belong to below poverty line (BPL) family
- Applicant family annual income should not exceed of Rs. 15,000/-
- Applicants should belong to Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes
Documents required for Health Subsidy Scheme:
- Aadhaar certificate
- BPL ration card
- Income certificate
- Caste certificate
- Passport size photos
- Bank account details
- The approval of official medical officer
How to apply for Health Subsidy Scheme:
- Applicant should visit Social Welfare Department in Uttarakhand
- Applicant also contact government medical officer in concerned District/Taluka
