Mata Yashoda Gaurav Nidhi Yojana launched by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of Gujarat. For the year 2016-17, Government of Gujarat has made a budgetary allocation of Rs. 6.16 crores. An insurance scheme aims to provide social security to Anganwadi Workers (AWW) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWH). Under this scheme, the beneficiary is given insurance of Rs. 50,000 as a social security along with 8% interest in the case of death of the insured. Under this scheme, during the working years of the AWW and AWHs, every month a premium of Rs. 100 is paid out of which Rs. 50 is paid by Gujarat Government and Rs. 50 is paid by the beneficiary. All Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers resident of Gujarat state can apply to the scheme. Application form can be obtained from Nearest women and child development department. Benefits of Mata Yashoda Gaurav Nidhi Yojana in Gujarat:

Document required applying for Mata Yashoda Gaurav Nidhi Yojana:
- Residence proof: Ration card, Election card, Electricity bill, Water bill, Telephone bill, Credit card bill, Bank passbook, driving license, Rent agreement, Passport etc. Identity proof: Aadhar card, Voter ID
- BPL card (if available)
- Income proof: Salary slip, Form 16, Income tax returns, Pension passbook etc.
- Passport size photograph
- Age proof: School certificate, Passport, PAN card, Driving license
Application procedure:
- Beneficiary applicant can collect application form by visiting Nearest Department of women and child development
- Must apply at same office with documents mentioned above
