Kerala State Cabinet has approved the Medisep Scheme which envisages cashless free treatment facility to all the serving state government employees. This scheme provides a comprehensive health insurance coverage to the employees of the state government. This scheme covers teaching, non-teaching government employees, civil services officers and their families as well as pensioners and their spouses/ families. Beneficiaries will get a cash free treatment at empaneled hospitals under this health insurance coverage scheme. Implementation of the scheme will be undertaken by Oriental Insurance company. This health coverage will turn out to be boon to the beneficiaries in critical times.
