The Mukhya Mantri Jeevan Raksha Kosh Scheme started by Sikkim State Government (Health and Family Welfare) for those people who do not belong to BPL category (Below Poverty Line). The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance for getting treatment for incurable disease out of state to those who are the permanent residents of Sikkim state does not belong to BPL category means general people apart from BPL. The scheme provides financial assistance for getting treatment outside state not in Sikkim. Under this scheme financial assistance is provided from Rs. 20,000 up to Rs. 2, 00,000 for better treatment. Required eligibility and conditions for applying Mukhya Mantri Jeevan Raksha Kosh Scheme:
- Applicant beneficiary must be permanent residents of Sikkim state
- Applicant must be in state to get benefits of scheme like e.g. Patient of any disease
- Candidate must not be belonging to BPL. Apart from BPL category all candidate are eligible
Document required for applying Mukhya Mantri Jeevan Raksha Kosh Scheme:
- Aadhar card
- Permanent residence proof
- Certificate that shows applicant not belongs to BPL
- Bank details e.g. account number, account holder name, IFSC code, MICR code
- Identity proof
- Referral certificate from the State Medical Board of STNM hospital and attested copies of Sikkim Subject Certificate of identification from the competent authority to avail facility under this scheme
