Government of Himachal Pradesh launched Mukhyamantri Khumb Vikas Yojana in the year 2019-2020. This scheme was launched keeping in mind the increasing interest of farmers in mushroom farming. This scheme enables increased production of khumb in the state. Under the scheme, training and assistance is provided to the farmers starting from production of khumb to its marketing the produce through proper channels. This scheme mainly aims at boosting the production of khumb thereby benefitting the khumb plantation farmers in the state.

- The main objective of the scheme is to provide assistance in the form of training and facilities to the farmers for mushroom plantation

- About 2.90 crores are allocated to 828 farmers to boost the mushroom cultivation
