Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India has announced National Water Awards – 2018. All those who has worked on effective & efficient water management & scientific methodologies can apply online for the awards. The online applications forms are available on the mygov.in. All the interested candidates are requested to apply online for National Water Awards – 2018 before 31st December 2018.
Who can apply for National Water Awards – 2018?
- All those who has worked on innovative & efficient rainwater harvesting, artificial recharge, efficiency in water uses, recycling & re-use of water, innovative practices of ground water augmentation are eligible
- Non-government Organizations (NGOs),
- Gram Panchayats,
- Institutions,
- Water user associations,
- Corporates &
- Individuals who has significantly contributed to the water conservation can apply

- To recognize those who has contributed to the innovative water conservation & management
