NSNIS State Level Scholarships for Sports Persons

The NSNIS (Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports) State Level Scholarships for Sports Persons launched by Central Government, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The scheme is specially launched to encourage sportsmanship in India and to support students financially. The main objective behind introducing this scheme is to give full support and proper encouragement for shaping the career of sportspersons under a well-trained coach in a particular discipline of sports with modern scientific methods and advanced infrastructure in the sports arena and financial help also provided. Students who are passionate about any sports can take benefits under this scheme. For getting eligible under this scheme candidate need to qualify some eligibility norms which are mentioned below

Benefits of NSNIS State Level Scholarships for Sports Persons:

NSNIS State Level Scholarships for Sports Persons provides benefits in the form of financial assistance to the students. Rates of scholarship are mentioned below
Under this scheme financial assistance of Rs. 6600 will be given per annum mean Rs. 550 per month 12 month
A selected student will be provided coaching along with financial help

Required eligibility and conditions for applying NSNIS State Level Scholarships for Sports Persons:

The sportsperson must be a regular bonafide student of state or central government/government recognized school/college up to 10+2 class
Candidate must be citizen of India
Candidate of more than 19 year age not eligible under this scheme but in renewal case candidate more than 19 will be considered
Only students who are excellent in any sports will be selected

School bonafide certificate
