Old Age Pension Scheme is launched by the Government of Uttarakhand and implemented by the Social Welfare Department for destitute old age people. The purpose of the scheme is to provide a pension for those destitute old age people who are above 60 years of age. In this scheme, the beneficiary should belong to below poverty line (BPL) families & their monthly income should be up to Rs. 4000/- for getting benefits of a pension. The main aim of this scheme is to provide the social security to the old age citizens of the state who are unable to sustain themselves from their own resources. So, this scheme will provide a better livelihood to the people in their old age and make their life easy. The state government of Uttarakhand took a very good initiative to provide a better life in the old age of the people. For getting benefits under this scheme applicant candidate need to qualify some eligibility norms which are mentioned below in articles like income limit and other things mentioned below

Benefits of Old Age Pension Scheme for Senior Citizen:

• The government provides a pension for Rs. 800/- per month destitute old age people who are above 60 years of age

Eligibility for Old Age Pension Scheme for Senior Citizen:

1. Applicant should be resident of Uttarakhand state
2. Applicant should be above 60 years of age
3. Applicant should belong to below poverty line (BPL) families
4. Applicant monthly income should be below Rs.4000/-

Documents for Old Age Pension Scheme for Senior Citizen:

1. Aadhaar card
2. Income certificate
3. BPL ration card
4. Bank account details
5. Passport size photos

How to apply for Old Age Pension Scheme for Senior Citizen:

1. Applicant should download Application Form by visit here http://socialwelfare.uk.gov.in/files/a-Oldage.pdf. Applicant also get application form from Social Welfare Department in Uttarakhand
2. Now, fill the Application Form and attached all essential documents which is mentioned above
3. Submit the form to the concerned Social Welfare Department, Uttarakhand
