Income certificate refers to a certificate which contains all the details of the annual income of person or families from all sources. A person can apply for the certificate for any general purpose or any scholarship purpose but most of the engineering student furnish it for the purpose of fee-reimbursement. The income certificate will be valid for a period of one year after being issued. A student who needs to apply for the scholarship may need to apply for Income certificate every year. Income Certificates states the different sources of income of an individual. Income certificate is often one of the application requirements to be a beneficiary of various civic welfare schemes
Who can apply for Income Certificate in Gujarat?
- Anyone who is citizen of Gujarat state can apply for Income certificate
Required Information for the application of Income certificate:
- Name of the Applicant
- Father/Husband’s Name
- Sex (M/F)
- Residential Address
- Purpose for which the certificate is required
- Monthly Salary Certificate
- Ration Card No
- PAN card no
Documents needed for Income Certificate:
- PAN card is compulsory
- Income proof / salary slip / bank statement etc.
- Age proof/school leaving certificate/birth certificate
- Address proof / ration card / bank passbook / passport
- ID proof / voter ID card / driving license / Aadhar card
- Passport size photos to affix in the application form
- Employer Certificate (if employed with Govt, Semi Govt or any Govt Undertaking)/If salaried (Form 16-A and ITR for last 3 years)/If in business (ITR of Business for last 3 years and Balance Sheet of Business)
Application Procedure:
- Go to official e-Services Portal of Gujarat click link mentioned below
- https://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in/
- Post visiting this link a window will appear which will look like window posted below
- Then click on login button
- If you are already registered user then log in with your credentials, if not registered please registered yourself
- Post login you will be getting a list of online services. Then click on Income certificate
- Fill required information and upload required document and go for payment option
- After few days you can log in again and check your application request
Fee for the Income Certificate:
- The application fee will be close to Rs. 50 per application
