The government of India has launched a scheme last year in Oct 2022 for young authors, where young minds will get mentorship in their area and will get the opportunity to publish their books by The National Book Trust of India. The scheme is called YUVA Mentorship Scheme 2.0. The University Grants Commission (UGC) will be conducted an online national contest under the PM YUVA Scheme 2.0, Where selected young authors can participate. The selection program has started and will continue till January 15, 2023.
The government of India launched the scheme PM-YUVA Mentorship Scheme 2.0 with the aim of providing training, mentorship, and developing young authors’ minds so that they can produce their books which will be published by The National Book Trust of India. According to the scheme selected 75 authors will receive an amount of Rs.50,000 per month as a scholarship amount for six months once the scheme started. Only those below the 30 years of age group can get the benefit of this scheme.
