The state government of Rajasthan has launched Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for Gramin Rajasthan. The goal of the scheme is to provide affordable houses to the people of Rajasthan residing in rural areas of the state. Under this scheme, Rajasthan Government has set a target to sanction 4.31 Lakh houses in the year 2016-17.regarding this, the state government has sent instructions to districts to complete the beneficiary identification and registration work within the given time frame. A strong and transparent mechanism will now monitor the quality of the construction and other implementation details of the scheme. A nodal officer will be appointed at each Gram Panchayats to monitor the progress of the scheme. The selection process will also be very transparent and selected beneficiaries list will be validated at the Gram Sabha levels. A loan of Rs. 70,000 will be made available for each of the beneficiaries if he wants to extend the house. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also announced 3% subvention on interest rate for loan of up to Rs. 2 lakh taken in 2017 for the new construction or extension of housing in rural areas

Benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for Gramin Rajasthan:

1. Benefits of financial assistance of Rs. 1,48,290 for the eligible beneficiaries out of which Rs. 1.20 Lakh provided in three installments
2. The government also provided financial assistance of Rs. 12000 to beneficiaries to build toilets under the Swachch Bharat Mission
3. The government also provided financial assistance as a 90 days labour fees of Rs. 16,290 under MGNREGA

1. Applicant should be resident of Rajasthan state
2. Applicant should belong to Gramin areas in Rajasthan

6. Registration documents of the plot

How to apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for Gramin Rajasthan:

1. Applicant should visit gram panchayat, Panchayat Samiti or E-Mitra Kendra in related districts/Taluka in Rajasthan
2. Identification and selection of beneficiaries will be done by the community through the Gram Sabha
3. Beneficiaries also visit and contact online sampark portal http://sampark.rajasthan.gov.in/

1. The beneficiaries can download AwaasApp by visit https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rural.housing&hl=en and install on their smartphones to receive installments
2. The beneficiaries required to share the details and construction status of the house along with photographs to receive the installment amount
