Caste certificate is an actual identity of someone’s caste according to the constitution of India. The caste certificate is a proof for the holding candidate that he/she belong to that particular community, religion or caste which has mentioned on that certificate. The government knows that the all the citizens of India have same right to grow with same ratio and speed along with other peoples. A citizen in India has got the reservation and all such facilities on the basis of caste. So, the detail procedure of caste certificates in Delhi for SC/ST category is as given below

 Eligibility for Application to Issue Caste Certificate in Delhi:

  1. Applicant should be Resident of Delhi State

Required Documents:

  1. Application form duly. The application form can be obtained at the following link
  3. Copy of Ration Card or other Proof of Residence
  4. Birth Certificate or School Certificate showing date of birth or if applicant is illiterate, an affidavit declaring age
  5. An affidavit declaring name, father’s name, residential address, period of residence in Delhi & caste, attested by oath commissioner/notary public
  6. In case the applicant is a married woman, proof of residential address before marriage
  7. Copy of SC Certificate of father/brother/sister

Required Information to issue Caste Certificate in Delhi:

  1. Name of the Applicant
  2. Father/Husband’s Name
  3. Sex (M/F)
  4. Residential Address
  5. Ration Card No
  6. School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate
  7. Details of Community Certificate of Parents
  8. Details of School Certificates of Parents
  9. Date of application

Application Procedure:

  1. Applications can be submitted in online through following link:
  2. Fill up the Online application
  3. Print the filled application form
  4. Applicant will be allotted a temporary number which will be printed on his application form and acknowledgment slip
  5. Send your printed application form and required documents to the concerned officer by registered post. Find subdivision/district using the link:
  6. On above image, applicant should go in services section mention upper left-hand side
  7. After that go in certificates where you can see several certificates so in that click on certificate for which you are applying then you will see following
  8. Then-candidate should click on Apply
  9. So here click on Apply for certificates
  10. Then follow further procedure
  11. Once your post is received along with complete documents, you will be allotted a unique 10-digit application Number. If the application is not the complete applicant can still view status
  12. Once your document is ready, you will be required to go to the office personally to collect it

Fee: Nil

Validity: The caste certificate issued to SC/ST person is valid for lifelong
