Scholarship for Foreign Studies to Backward Class Students launched by Government of Madhya Pradesh (Department of Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare). The main objective behind introducing this scheme is providing financial help to a backward class candidate to pursue higher education in abroad. Under this scheme selected candidate will get several types of financial help mentioned below. An applicant who willing to get benefits can apply at Department of Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare a notification will be released in the newspaper. All candidate residence of Madhya Pradesh and belong to backward class can apply to this scheme. Madhya Pradesh government has introduced several schemes for welfare of backward students this is one of them

Required eligibility and conditions applying for Scholarship for Foreign Studies to Backward Class Students:

1. For research, Post (Ph.D.): In the postgraduate examination of the first grade or 60% marks or its equivalent grade and related field experience with research degree
2. For Research Degree (Ph.D.): a First year or 60 percent marks in the respective post-graduate examination or two years teaching/research / professional experience in M.Phil.
3. For Postgraduate Degree: Bachelor Degree in first class or 60% marks or its equivalent grade
4. The application should be less than 35 years of age on January 1 of the year given
5. Total annual income from the employed candidate or all sources of his / her parent/guardian should not be more than the prescribed age limit for the creamy layer

2. Bank details e.g. IFSC Code, MICR code, branch name, account number
3. Identity proof: Aadhar card
4. Caste certificate
5. PAN card
6. Academics certificate
7. Non-creamy layer
8. Caste validity
9. BPL ration card (if available)
10. Income certificate
11. Application form

Application procedure:

1. This scheme is implemented by Department of Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare and notification regarding scheme will be released in newspapers students who willing to get benefits of this scheme should apply to Nearest Department of Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare
2. Shortlisted candidates by the scrutiny committee will be called to the selection committee for the interview
