The Scholarships for Non Hindi Speaking Students of Assam State for Graduate and Post Graduate Courses is started by Assam Government (Ministry of Human Resource and Development) for students studying Hindi as subject (whose mother tongue is not Hindi) in College/University or Voluntary Organization either recognized by State Government or  are conducted by an Institution declared as an Institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament for providing scholarships for Degree and Post Degree courses, Ph.D etc. The main aim of this scholarship scheme is to provide financial assistance to students whose mother tongue is not Hindi but studying Hindi as a subject

Benefits of Scholarships for Non-Hindi Speaking Students of Assam State for Graduate and Post Graduate Courses:

• Scholarships for Non-Hindi Speaking Students of Assam State for Graduate and Post Graduate Courses provide financial assistance as a benefit to students. Financial help structure is mentioned below
• Scholarship for Graduate courses: Rs. 500 Per Month (B.A /B.Sc /B.Com or an equivalent examination)
• Scholarship for Post Graduate Courses: 1000 Per Month (M.A /M.Sc /M.Com /M.Litt and equivalent course and Hindi teachers training course /Ph.D.)
• There are total 89 (Eighty-Nine) Scholarship for Graduate and Post Graduate courses

1. Candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam state
2. Candidate must be whose mother tongue is not Hindi
3. Candidate must be supposed to pursuing Graduate and Post Graduate course

Application procedure and documents required for applying Scholarships for Non-Hindi Speaking Students of Assam State for Graduate and Post Graduate Courses:

1. Having all schooling certificate and college certificate or Marksheets
2. Marksheet of 10th, 12^th, H.S.L.C, H.S, T.D.C, BA/B. Sc/B.Com/L.L.B
3. Degree certificate
4. The domicile of the applicants
5. Birth certificate of the student
6. Income certificate of the applicant’s parent
7. Caste certificate
8. Aspirants Address proof e.g. certificate from residence authority
9. College certificates in which the candidates are appearing
10. Bank details e.g. IFSC code, MICR code, Account number, Account holder name, Branch name, Bank name
11. Aadhar card
12. 2 Passport size photo
13. Any proof that showing candidates mother tongue is not Hindi

2. After done with downloading fill the application properly with Signature of the Head of the Institution with date and seal. Then candidates should apply along with all certificate and Marksheets from H.S.L.C. Examination onwards to the Director of Higher Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati – 781019 on through the Registrar / Head of the Department and the concerned Supervisor / Guide of the University
