केरल में अनाथ बच्चों के लिए स्नेहपूर्वम छात्रवृत्ति योजना (हिंदी में)
In the state of Kerala, approximately 75,000 children below 18 years of age are living in orphanages and near about 1500 orphanages are functioning in Kerala. Most of the children’s have families and relatives but most of them lost their parents due to various reasons. Children without proper adult care & protection are more likely to be abused & exploited. To protect them, state Government of Kerala has come up with the noble initiative called Snehapoorvam Scheme. The main objective of the scheme is to identify the orphaned children in the community and full their needs, to provide social protection to highly vulnerable groups, to improve the basic education, social integration, to encourage the families to live their children within the family set up rather than sending them to orphanages, to extend a helping hand to these orphans families by way of providing financial assistance to the education of children. The government has aimed to bring these children to the mainstream of the society. Regarding, government took very good initiative for orphan children’s in Kerala
Benefits of Snehapoorvam Scheme for Orphans:
- Children below 5 years: The Children below 5 years of age can get benefits of financial assistance of Rs.300 per month
- Class 1st to 5th: Benefits of Rs. 300 per month for Children’s who are studying in class 1st to 5th
- Class 6th to class 10th: Benefits of Rs 500 per month for class 6th to class 10th
- Class 11th and class 12th: Benefits of Rs 750 per month for class 11th and class 12th children’s
- Degree/professional courses: Financial assistance of Rs. 1000 per month for students who are studying in Degree/professional courses
Eligibility Criteria for Snehapoorvam Scheme for Orphans:
- Applicant should be resident of Kerala state
- Orphans children’s are eligible for this scheme
- Orphans, abandoned children, children who have lost their parents in war, communal riots, natural disaster, and accidents etc. are eligible for this scheme
Documents required for Snehapoorvam Scheme for Orphans:
- Identity card such as Aadhaar card
- School certificates
- Orphan certificate
- School bonafide certificate
How to apply for Snehapoorvam Scheme for Orphans:
- Visit the official site http://kssm.ikm.in/
- Now, click on Beneficiary/Institution Login Button
- Then click on new registration and once registered successfully, applicant get USERNAME & PASSWORD
- Login with USERNAME & PASSWORD
- Now click on services and click on New Beneficiary Registration
- Fill essential details and submit it
