Utkarsh Bangla Scheme (UBS) West Bengal: 6 lakh students will be provided skills education in 2018-19 | Benefits, Eligibility & How to apply?

Utkarsh Bangla Scheme (UBS) had launched by Chief Minister Smt. Mamata Banerjee under the Department of Technical Education, Training & Skill Development; Government of West Bengal in February, 2016. The scheme is for the school dropout students who cannot study due to poor financial conditions. It is a welfare scheme for school dropouts student and youth. The objective of the scheme is to provide skill based trainings to students who could not continue their education and to provide employment opportunities to the youth. Under the scheme students will get free training for tailoring, driving, repairing television and other electronic equipment and beauty courses. There is no fee registration fees as well for the trainings.
