Yuva Nirman Scheme Delhi Government

The Yuva Nirman Scheme introduced by Delhi Government (Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment) Department of Social Welfare. The scheme is started for students of Delhi to provide scholarship or reimbursement of half of tuition fees in the form of financial assistance it results students from weaker section will able to get a higher education. The main objective of this scheme is to provide scholarship/reimbursement of half of the tuition fee to socially & economically backward students of professional courses (non-technical) in Universities in Delhi. Those who belong to socially & economically backward section would get benefited under this scheme and it will lead to upliftment of socially & economically backward classes. To get eligible for applying candidate need to fulfill some eligibility parameter and requirements.

Benefits of Yuva Nirman Scheme:

  • Yuva Nirman Scheme provides benefits in the form of scholarship or reimbursement of half of tuition fees
  • Under this scheme scholarship/reimbursement of half of the tuition fee is provided to socially & economically backward students of professional courses (non-technical) in Universities in Delhi
  • Students from weaker section will able to get higher education when he/she gets half fees concession

Required eligibility and conditions for applying Yuva Nirman Scheme:

  1. Candidates parental income should not more than Rs. 2 lakh per year
  2. The students should have secured 60% marks with zero backlogs papers and 70% attendance in previous academic year
  3. Candidate must be a permanent resident of Delhi

Document required for applying Yuva Nirman Scheme:

  1. Income certificate from the concerned Revenue Officer up to Rs. 1 lakh
  2. Copy of the Marks sheet of the last examination passed (Current academic year )
  3. Attendance record (Current academic year)
  4. Fee receipt (Current academic year)
  5. Permanent residence proof
  6. Aadhar card
  7. Passport size photograph
  8. Bonafide certificate
  9. Bank details e.g. IFSC code, MICR code, Account holder name, Account number, Branch name

Application procedure:

  1. Application form: Application form can be downloaded from mentioned link- http://www.delhi.gov.in/wps/wcm/connect/DoIT_HE/higher+education/home or http://it.delhigovt.nic.in/writereaddata/Sch20155722.pdf
  2. Then students may apply to the Principal/ Director of the concerned University/ College/ Institute in Delhi in prescribed format
