Banana Leaf Spot Disease Management Programme in Maharashtra

Banana Leaf Spot Disease Management Programme is introduced by the government of Maharashtra. The agriculture department of Maharashtra can implement this programme in Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar district in Maharashtra. The programme is implemented for prevention of banana leaf spot disease. Under this programme, the government provides the package to the farmers for prevention of Sigatoka disease on the banana leaf. The agriculture department of Jalgaon can give the package of  Rs. 25,657/-  including field management, sucker treatment, foliar spray, spraying charges, campaign management etc. The cost for implementing banana leaf spot disease management programme for awareness is Rs. 657 including two days workshop for farmers. The government has the aim to implement awareness programme in a district which can help farmers toward awareness about banana leaf disease. The management campaign programme implemented through banners, Informatory book, pamphlet etc. the whole programme about banana leaf spot disease management is implemented by agriculture department of Maharashtra. The whole management programme is divided into parts and each of the programme is implemented by the government of Maharashtra. The agriculture officers also visit banana farm for the inspection of banana trees
