Indian Navy Recruitment 2021: Apply for Sailor positions under Sports Quota Entry @ joinindiannavy.gov.in

The Indian Navy has invited applications from unmarried male candidates for enrollment as Sailors under sports quota entry. The vacancies available are for Direct Entry Petty Officer, Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) and Matric Recruits (MR). This engagement is initially for 15 years subject to successful training. Interested candidates can apply offline via post on or before March 7, 2021.

• For candidates of North East, J&K, Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep & Minicoy Islands – March 14, 2021

Recruitment Details:

Direct Entry Petty Officer:

• Qualification – 10+2 qualified in any stream or equivalent examination from a recognized institution
• Sports Proficiency – Candidate should have participated in International/ State/ National level at junior/ senior level or represented a University in the Inter university tournament. Candidate should also have attained a minimum of 6^th position in Nationals (seniors) or 3^rd position in National (juniors) or 3^rd position in the Inter University meets
• Age Limit – 17-22 years

Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR):

• Qualification – 10+2 qualified in any stream or equivalent examination from a recognized institution
• Sports Proficiency – Candidate should have participated in International/ State/ National level at junior/ senior level or represented a University in the Inter university tournament.
• Age Limit – 17-21 years

Matric Recruits:

• Qualification – 10th qualified or equivalent examination from a recognized board
• Sports Proficiency – Candidate should have participated in International/ State/ National level tournament
• Age Limit – 17-21 years

Remuneration:

• During the training period the candidates will be given a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month.
• On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level-3 of the defence pay matrix Rs. 21,700-43,100/- with MSP – Rs. 5,200/- per month plus applicable DA

• Application form format is available in the advertisement pdf itself
• Accordingly fill in the required details like name, address, age, qualification, experience, sports discipline details, DOB, etc
• Sign the declaration and affix a passport sized photo
• Applications are to be sent via post to The Secretary, Indian Navy Sports Control Board, 7^th Floor, Chankya Bhavan, Integrated HQ, MoD (Navy), New Delhi-110021
• In case of any fraud or misleading information, the application will be considered as Invalid.
