Qualification:

• Constable – Class 8^th passed from a recognized school/ board.
• Constable(Bigular) – Class 8^th passed from a recognized school/ board along with relevant experience.
• Constable (Drum Man) – Class 8^th passed from a recognized school/ board along with relevant experience.
• Constable (Driver) – Class 8^th passed from a recognized school/ board along with a valid driving license for heavy and light vehicles and relevant driving experience.
• Chief Constable – Class 8^th passed from a recognized school/ board.

Physical Standards:

• Height – Male – 168 cms; Female – 152 cms
• Chest – Male – 81 cms (unexpanded) and 86 cms (expanded); Female – Not applicable
• Weight (only for Chief Constable posts) – Male – Not applicable; Female – 47.5 kgs

Pay Scale:

• Constable – Rs. 12,900/-
• Chief Constable – Rs. 14,600/-

• General/ OBC(CL)/MBC candidates – Rs. 500/-
• SC/ ST/ EWS/ OBC(NCL) candidates – Rs. 400/-
