University Grants Commission (UGC) 2021: Applications are invited from regular and full time students under Indira Gandhi PG scholarship for Single Girl Child; PG Scholarship for University Rank Holder candidate; Ishan Uday Special Scheme for North Eastern Region; and PG Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC/ ST candidates. Registration process started for the interested and eligible candidates on the National Scholarship Portal in August 2021. Last date to apply is November 30, 2021.

- Last date for verification of applications by institutions of students including resubmission of defective applications: December 15, 2021
How to Register/Apply:
- Visit the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) @scholarships.gov.in
- Click on the UGC/ AICTE Schemes tab.
- Go through the guidelines of applicable scheme.
- Then start with New Registration.
- After successful registration, click on login to apply or apply for renewal option as applicable. Fresh as well as renewals are accepted on the portal.
- Fill in the required details and submit.
- Download and take a print of the final confirmation page for future reference.
- No misleading or wrong information will be entertained. The application stands cancelled in such cases of fraud.

- Identity/ DOB proof
- Caste certificate (if any)
- PH certificate (if any)
- Passport size photo
