The State Bank of India (SBI) is recruiting Specialist Cadre Officers (Marketing-Financial Institutions). Who can Apply?
Indian citizens who meet the following eligibility criteria can apply:
- Age: As of April 1st, 2024, minimum 27 years and maximum 40 years (relaxation applicable for reserved categories)
- Educational Qualification: MBA/PGDM or equivalent from a recognized university with a specialization in Marketing/Finance (preferred)
- Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Banking & Financial Services (Banks/PSUs/Corporates) with a preference for Financial Institutions Group/Corporate & Institutional Banking experience.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
- Shortlisting: Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and experience.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview that carries 100 marks. The Bank will determine the qualifying marks.
Remuneration and Benefits
The selected candidate will be placed in the Scale MMGS-II with a basic pay of ₹64820-2340/1-67160-2680/10-93960. They will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Provident Fund (PF), Contributory Pension Fund (NPS), Leave Fare Concession (LFC), Medical Facilities, and other benefits as per Bank rules.
