The National Sugar Institute (NSI) established in 1936, is involved in research, training and advisory services to the sugar and allied industry, and functions under the Department of Food and Public Distribution of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. Located in Kalyanpur, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, it provides technical education and training in research in all branches of sugar chemistry, sugar technology, and sugar engineering and allied fields. The institute provides assistance to central and state governments in matters relating to sugar and allied industries.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education Qualification: Candidate need to qualify mentioned eligibility

1. Research Assistant (Engineering)- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University/Institute
2. Foreman (Mechanical)- Three Year diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institute or equivalent with two years’ experience in a factory/workshop of repute or in a Government organisation
3. Electrician- 10th Standard pass from a recognized School or Board Trade Certificate from Industrial Training Institute /Central Industrial Training Institute in Electrical trade with three years’ work experience in electrical and motor re-winding work
4. Fitter ‘C’- 10th Standard pass from a recognized School or Board Fitter Trade Certificate from Industrial Training Institute/Central

• Age limit:

1. Minimum Age limit must be 18 years
2. Maximum Age Limit will be 25 years
3. Age relaxation for SC/ST category will be 5 years
4. Age relaxation for OBC category will be 3 years

• Service Bond: 2 years

Job Location: Anywhere in India
