Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot recently approved the proposal for Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme for the students belonging to various reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, MBC and EWS. This scheme will provide vouchers to the college students studying in government colleges in urban areas for residential facilities. Under this scheme about Rs. 7000 per month will be provided for residential facilities at divisional headquarters and Rs. 5000 per month for district headquarters. This scheme will start from this academic year 2021-22.
