Beej Gram Yojana launched by Government of Madhya Pradesh (Farmer welfare and Agriculture Department). The main objective behind introducing this scheme is the welfare of farmer and make them known with Advanced seed production, seed production, and storage technology. Under this scheme seed / certified seed is provided for every selected farmer with 50% subsidy for half an acre and training to introduce them with Major Crop Stages: During planting a seed, farmers are trained at flowering stage and harvesting. All farmer residence of Madhya Pradesh state is eligible under this scheme. The candidate who willing to get the benefit of this plan should apply to Nearest Krishi Adhikari. Madhya Pradesh Government has introduced several schemes for the benefit of the farmers this is one of them prime initiative
Benefits of Beej Gram Yojana in Madhya Pradesh:
- Beej Gram Yojana helps the farmer in the form of financial assistance. Benefits are mentioned below
- Under this scheme seed / certified seed is provided for every selected farmer with 50% subsidy for half acre
- This scheme provides training to selected farmers to introduce them with Major Crop Stages: During planting seed, farmers are trained at flowering stage and harvesting
- This scheme makes farmer known with Advanced seed production, Seed production, and storage technology
- For 10 quintals storage grants for Scheduled Caste / tribal farmers is 33% of the fixed price maximum 1500 rupees
- For 20 quintal storage grants for Scheduled Caste / tribal farmers is 33% of the fixed price maximum 3000 rupees
- 25 percent grant to general farmers maximum Rs. 1000 on 10 quintals and maximum of Rs 2000 will be payable on 20 quintals
- This is prime initiative taken by Madhya Pradesh government for farmer empowerment
Required eligibility and conditions for applying Beej Gram Yojana:
- All farmer residence of Madhya Pradesh state are eligible under this scheme
Document required for applying Beej Gram Yojana:
- Aadhar card
- Residence proof
- Bank details e.g. IFSC code, MICR code, branch name, account number
- Identity proof
- BPL ration card (if available)
- 7/12 of farm
- Income certificate
- Application form (available at Krishi Adhikari office)
Application procedure:
- This scheme is implemented by Farmer welfare and Agriculture Department. Farmer who willing to get benefits of this scheme should apply to Nearest Krishi Adhikari
