The government of Haryana launched the Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana (BBY) for farmers in the state. It is a price deficit compensation scheme. The objective of the scheme is to financially help farmers in the state who has to suffer due to price drop. Under the scheme government will compensate farmers if the prices of the cops drops below the Minimum Selling Price (MSP) declared by the government. The farmers across the country are agitating due to the drought, flooding, price drop of their produce and many have committed suicide due to huge loans. The scheme is expected to benefit such farmers and will get MSP of the crops for sure.
The government has also recommended farmers to diversify their crops to reduce the risk. To take benefits of the scheme all the farmers in Haryana are required to make online registration on the Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana (BBY) website at ekharid.in. Within 15 days the state government transfers the compensation amount into the AADHAAR linked bank account of the farmers. The scheme is applicable for horticulture growers and applicable to following crops: tomato, onions, potato and cauliflower.

Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana (BBY): Objectives
- To make sure that the farmers get minimum support prices for their crops
- To minimize risk due to price drop of fruits and vegetables
- To empower farmers and to financially support them
Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana (BBY): Eligibility
- Farmers in Haryana only are eligible for the scheme
- Farmers who growers potato, onions, tomatoes and cauliflowers
- Farmers who own farm land along with tenant farmers who have rented farm land
Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana (BBY): Benefits
- If the farmer is forced to sell crop at lower price then he will be compensated by the government
- The farmers will be assured of fixed income
- The government is expected that the farmers can earn Rs. 48,000 to Rs. 56,000 per acre of land under cultivation

Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana (BBY): Application form / Online registration & How to apply?
STEP 1: CLICK HERE to go to Horticulture Department Marketing Board official portal e-Kharid
STEP 2: Click on the Farmer Registration (Kisan Panjikaran)
STEP 3: Read all the instructions carefully and then click on Proceed for the Registration
STEP 4: Search with your registration number, aadhaar number or mobile number
STEP 5: Fill in the application form completely
STEP 6: Follow the instructions, upload the scanned copies of the documents
STEP 7: Submit the application which completes the registrations
STEP 8: On successful registration you will get user name and password
Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana (BBY): How to make claims and check status
STEP 1: Farmers need to collect J-Form and fill it at the time of selling their crops to get compensation . The J-Form can be obtained from the aryana State Agricultural Marketing Board
STEP 2: CLICK HERE to go to e-kharid login and login with your login credentials
STEP 3: Fill in the J-FORM and upload the required documents
STEP 4: Submit the claim
On submission the claim will be verified and then the compansation will be transfered to the farmers AADHAAR linked direct benefit account within 15 days.

Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana (BBY): Implementation & Highlights
- To make sure that the scheme is implemented effectively, periodical assessment will be performed by district-level committees
- The district level committees will be constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary and headed by the State Level & Deputy Commissioner
- The government is making sure that the scheme reaches all the farmers and investing in extensive promotion of scheme through newspapers, digital facilities and seminars etc
- Sufficient funds are allocated for the scheme
- The scheme will make sure that the vegetable cultivators are free from risks
- The average daily wholesale price will be determined on the basis of the daily quotation of the monks marked by the Mandi Board
- The BBY registrations can be done at e-directions centers / marketing boards / horticulture departments / agricultural departments and internet kiosks
- During the seeding duration, it is mandatory for the farmers to register on the BBY e-portal of horticulture department and on the website of Haryana State Marketing Agricultural Board (HSAMB)
- Area certification will be performed by the officer of the forest department
- In case farmer is unsatisfied with the certified area, then there is a provision to file an appeal
