Bio-Metric Attendance Systems for Schools under Tribal Development Department launched by Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat. The objective behind launching this scheme is to enhance punctuality of students, teachers and other staff with reduced absenteeism. The Biometric application and the Computer Aided Learning System project aims at automating the attendance process across the schools under the tribal development department and enabling the schools in the computer-aided learning system. the Schedule Tribe population cannot afford facilities like e-Learning or digital classrooms, but this scheme enables them being a part of digital education. Opens several learning opportunities for them. As many as 7,131 Institutes have been registered and about 9,53,936 students and 28,698 teaching and non-teaching staff enrolled.
