Dry Ration Kit Scheme for Migrant Labourers, Tamil Nadu

To ensure good health and welfare of the migrant workers in the state

On June 25, 2021 Tamil Nadu government launched Dry Ration Kit Scheme for the migrant workers in the state. This scheme launch was announced by Chief Minister, M K Stalin. It is launched mainly in view of the ongoing pandemic situations in the state. Under this scheme the government will provide dry ration kits consisting of 15 kgs of rice, 1 kg of Tur dal and 1 litre cooking oil each to the migrant labourers. This scheme tends to assist the migrant labourers across the state thus ensuring their welfare in these testing times of the pandemic.
