Industrial Training Institute: Industrial Training Institute is also known as the junior Polytechnic Institute, which provides training in technical fields. ITA come under Directorate General of Employment and Training, Ministry of Labor & Employment, the Union Government of India. ITI provides vocational education and training service to students from educational institutions. The main aim of this department is to supply of manpower in various sector likes Engineering, Information Technology, Agriculture sector, and medical sector and also encourage institute for developing human resource. The objective of this department is to increase the quality and quantity of industrial production by systematic training of workers and help to reduce the unemployment among the educated youth by providing them suitable education.

What after ITI? : ITI student can go for higher study like diploma in engineering. IIT qualified students can set up of their own business like as Garage shop, Motor winding shop,and fabrication shop depending upon his trade. ITI candidate can join private company and public sector. The government provide opportunity like as Army, Navy, Railway field for ITI passed candidate of different trades.
Eligibility for ITI candidate:
- Any person between age of 14 to 45 years is eligible to get admission in ITI college
- Candidate must have completed his/her SSC education
Application procedure:
- Just go to the official website of Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, Maharashtra State http://www.dvet.gov.in/
- Create your account for that go to new registration, fill all the information like as detailed information about yourself, educational details, your photograph and submit the form
- Submit prescribed application form and attested copy of all documents to government ITI college
- Central government officers will check all the details and after completion of the admission process, they will provide a confirmation receipt to the applicant
Selection Procedure:
Admission to ITI college is purely on merit basis of the marks secured by a candidate in SSC examination
