Free Coaching Scheme for Underprivileged Students, Rajasthan

On June 5, 2021 Rajasthan government announced the implementation of Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Scheme whereby free coaching facility for competitive entrance exams will be provided to the underprivileged students. This facility was launched by CMO Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot. It will be implemented and free coaching will be provided to the students based on marks obtained in Class 10 and 12 as applicable. Coaching under this scheme will be provided for 1 year. This initiative intends to motivate the children belonging to  underprivileged sections in the state to learn more and achieve new heights.

Objectives and Benefits:

• The main objective of the scheme is to provide free coaching to the underprivileged students in the state who are wishing to prepare for exams like UPSC, RPSC, CLAT, REET, constable exam, sub inspector exam, etc
• The scheme will enable the underprivileged students to pursue higher education to prepare them for competitive examinations
• It will provide help to the students to study irrespective of financial constraints and difficulties
• This initiative will encourage the students to pursue higher studies and crack the examination
• It aims to provide required coaching in the state itself so that no student will need to go to any other state for coaching
• Students studying in coaching institutes outside their home cities will be given Rs. 40,000 annually for accommodation and food
• It will help many students across the state to get quality education through physical as well as virtual mode

Eligibility:

• Children of government employees receiving pay matrix-11
• Children from families whose annual income is below Rs. 8 lakhs

Exams covered under the scheme:

• UPSC
• RPSC
• RAS
• Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET)
• Constable exams
• Sub-Inspector exams
• Engineering entrance exams
• Medical Entrance exams
• Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)
• Grade Pay-2400/ Pay Matrix Level-5 services exam
• 3600 Grade Pay/ Pay Matrix Level-10 services exam

Process:

• Students will be selected district wise
• Under the scheme, every district will be given a quote
• Accordingly eligible and selected students list will be prepared district wise by the concerned authorities and thereby the beneficiaries will be provided the scheme benefit

• No underprivileged student will opt out of his/her dream of becoming successful due to financial constraints
