Rajasthan government recently started ‘Free rental scheme’ for providing the small-scale and marginal farmers with tractors and farm equipment on rental basis. This scheme is launched by the state agriculture department in view of the pandemic situations in the state. Tractors and farm equipment like ploughs, sowing machines, cultivators, etc will be provided to the farmers during the upcoming kharif season. This scheme is planned to be operational from June 1 to July 31, 2021. Small and marginal farmers having land up to 2.5 acres will be covered under the scheme. The scheme implementation will be done with the assistance of J Farm Services.
