Candidates who want to change the examination center/city for the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2018 examinations can now change it according to the official notification on gate.iitg.ac.in Only students who has already applied for the GATE 2018 can change their examination city only once. The enrollment for GATE 2018 has already closed now.
Highlights of GATE 2018 examination change:
- Change in the city for GATE 2018 can be done online GOAPS or GATE Online Application Processing System
- The option for the change of city will be available only between 13th November till 17th November 2017
- Rs. 400 is the fees charged for change in the examination city
How to change examination city for GATE 2018 examinations?
STEP 1: Visit IIT GOAPS or GATE Online Application Processing System http://appsgate.iitg.ac.in/
STEP 2: Login with your credential which you used at the time of registration
STEP 3: Specify change in the examination preferences, specify city of your choice
STEP 4: Pay processing fees of Rs. 400
IIT GATE 2018 Important Dates:
- Exam City Change: 13th– 17th November 2017
- Admit Card: 05th January 2018
- GATE 2018 Examination:
- Dates: 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th February 2018
- Timings: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
