Google India has announced the scholarship of Rs. 1.30 lakh rupees for Indian students and developer communities. Google CEO Sundar Pichai promised to train 2 Million Android Developers in India in next 3 years and they have already made a steady progress towards the same. They have already facilitated half a million developers across the country. Now Google is going beyond their own training methods and partnering with Pluralsight and Udacity to offer online training courses.
In an official statement in the Google India Blog they said their goal is to create a pool of highly skilled workforce which is readily employable by the industry. Under the program Google India will sponsor 100 thousand scholarships in Pluralsight and 30 thousand scholarships in Udacity. Both the online learning platforms will provide access to various courses in Mobile, Web development, Machine Learning, AR/VR, Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Platforms.
