Telangana government is about to launch its ambitious ‘Health Profile Scheme’. On August 19, 2021 Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao announced the approval of the state cabinet for this scheme. Under this scheme a data base of health profiles of all the citizens of the state will be maintained. This record will help in keeping a check on the health of everyone in the state. It will enable precautions and treatments at the right times. The state government will keep a check on rates of seasonal diseases, health ailments etc. Currently this scheme is planned to start as a pilot project in Mulugu and Rajanna Sircilla districts of Telangana state.
