Education is most important factor in any society. In India, girl’s education ratio is lower compared to boy’s education ratio because of several factors. To change the scenario, the State Government of Madhya Pradesh has started Kanya Saksharta Protsahan Yojana for girls in the state. The main purpose of this scheme is to encourage girls for education through financial assistance and it also helps to reduce school dropout ratio in Madhya Pradesh. In this scheme, the government provided financial assistance to the girls for their education. In the year 2006-2007, more than 63688 girls studying in class 6th and 17299 girls of class 9th and 11th were benefitted under the scheme. This scheme will provide better opportunities for increase higher education ratio and enhance their employability and empowerment through education. For applying under this scheme applicant candidate needs to qualify some eligibility norms which are mentioned below in the article. Girl students of Madhya Pradesh can take benefits of this scheme and stable their future by pursuing well education
Benefits of Kanya Saksharta Protsahan Yojana for Girls in Madhya Pradesh:
- Benefits of financial assistance for girls who are passed and promoting from class 5 to 6, class 8 to 9 and for clearing class 12 examination
- A girl who passed class 5th, 8th and 10th Board exams and gets regular admission in the next class can get incentive amount of Rs.500, Rs. 1000 and Rs. 3000
Eligibility for Kanya Saksharta Protsahan Yojana for Girls in Madhya Pradesh:
- Girls should be resident of Madhya Pradesh state
- Girls parents should not come under taxpayer
- Girls who Passed class 5th, 8th, and 10th Board Examinations and get admission in next class are eligible to get benefits under this scheme
Documents required for Kanya Saksharta Protsahan Yojana for Girls in Madhya Pradesh:
- Aadhaar card
- Parents income certificate
- Girls education mark sheet
- Passport size photos
How to apply for Kanya Saksharta Protsahan Yojana for Girls in Madhya Pradesh:
- Applicant should visit Collector/Assistant Commissioner in Madhya Pradesh
- Applicant also visit Principal of the concerned school or District education officer in Madhya Pradesh
