The Government of Andhra Pradesh has launched a platform for start-ups in the AP called MakeInAP (Make In Andhra Pradesh). The main objective of the MakeInAP initiative is to provide an innovative platform for start-up entrepreneurs in the state to interact with the mentors and get required support. Innovative startups will be rewarded with cash prices, incubation, mentoring and recruitment for their innovative solutions. The AP government has partnered with NASCOM 10,000 Start-ups along with Idealabs FutureTech Ventures and Innovation Valley (formerly AP Innovation Society).

- MakeInAP launch: 21st November 2018 at Amravati
- Regional final: 20th January 2019
- Innovation day at Vizag: 26th January 2019
- Innovation day at Tirupati: 15th February 2019
- Regional final at Vizag: 25th February 2019
- Regional final at Tirupati: 23rd March 2019
- Grand finale: 30th March 2019
