Meghalaya State Portal

The Meghalaya official state portal is a one stop window for all the information about the State Government regarding its schemes, policies, press releases, various online services and what not. It contains end to end information about the online services available for citizens, recruitment notifications, forms, rules, regulations and acts. CMO, Meghalaya, Mr. Conrad K Sangma relaunched the redesigned state portal on August 13, 2020. The state portal is redesigned with new features. Now the portal is more responsive, user friendly and has even more security features.

• The portal functions as a one stop window for all the information regarding government policies, schemes and initiatives
• In the current situations of the pandemic, the portal constantly provides real time information about the current cases, recovery, areas affected, etc.
• The portal aims to cover all the aspects to make it user friendly and enable it to be a one single source of all the detailed government information,
• It provides complete transparency about the state and its government, with respect to right to information.
• The portal is redesigned making it more user friendly and enabling the content sharing to various social media platforms.
• Security features have been newly redesigned and improved

Features:

• One stop information of all the government related schemes, policies and initiatives
• Entire information is available regarding various facets of Meghalaya and its government with various departments, districts, council of ministers, chief minister, chief justice, IAS, MCS and governor is provided.
• Complete list of Key Contacts like government ministers, authorities, autonomous bodies is available on the portal.
• COVID-19 Newsroom is available for providing all up to date information about the pandemic and its spread in the state, assistance provided, quarantine related information, nodal departments, notifications, etc. Helpline details separately for COVID-19 are also available on the portal
• A new feature of Be Involved is added to the portal, wherein citizens can get involved and collaborate, share and influence the government policies. There are tasks, polls, surveys, blogs under this creative corner
• The redesigned portal now has improved UI/UX design and is more user friendly
• It is more responsive and device friendly too
• The portal has newly improved and much needed security features for user data protection
• Content sharing option has been made available now. The content from the website can now be shared on social media platforms like Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, messenger and WhatsApp
• It is a storehouse of all the documents, tenders, forms, schemes, forums, notifications, circulars and what not.
• Content on the portal is provided by various government departments and organisations, hereby a department can login on the website and contribute the content. The content will be then moderated and published thereby.
• Content, Coverage, Design and Technology are the bases of the portal
• The portal also has a list of email ids, web directory, locations, app directory a calendar for the citizens
• Even grievance management is done through the portal. Citizens can lodge complaint, or give feedback, view the action status and get ensured reply and solution.
