The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has launched mParivahan (M-Parivahan) Mobile App to provide RTO related services on the smartphones. The app provides services such as finding vehicle owner & details by registration, reporting road accidents & offences, create virtual DL & RC. mParivahan aggregates & provides details from all the RTOs across the country. The app is developed by National Informatics Center (NIC). It is available on the Google Play Store for Android users. M-Parivahan is the free app & anyone can download the app.

mParivahan Mobile App Features:
- Get vehicle details by registration number of the vehicle. Below mentioned vehicle information can be obtained from the app:
- Owner Name
- Registration date
- Registering Authority
- Make Model
- Fuel Type
- Vehicle Age
- Vehicle class
- Insurance Validity
- Vehicle Fitness Validity
- Verify your vehicle registration details
- Verify details of the vehicle at the time of second-hand purchase
- Find details of stolen, accidental or illegally parked car
- You can report offences & accidents
- You can also create emergency profile for your self
- The emergency profile has names & contact details of the relatives which an be used during emergency
- Call ambulance
- Verify driving license (DL)
- Create virtual driving license (DL) & registration card (RC)
- The app also provides location of the nearby RTO offices
