To provide a health insurance coverage to maintain life-health balance of people in the state

Rajasthan government started registration process for its much-awaited universal health insurance scheme – ‘Mukhya Mantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana’ across the state. This scheme was initially announced by the CM on in the state budget for 2021-22. Thereby it will begin across the state from May 1, 2021 and registrations for the same started from April 1, 2021. This scheme tends to cover all the families in the state. It will provide the families in the state with annual medical insurance benefits up to Rs. 5 lakhs by paying Rs. 850 annually. This health insurance coverage will turn out to be boon for all the residents.

Objectives and Benefits:

  • The main objective of the scheme is to protect and cover the residents in the state
  • This scheme will provide annual medical insurance cover of Rs. 5 lakhs for each family just by paying Rs. 850/- annually
  • It is the first universal health scheme in the state covering all the families across the state
  • Any resident of the state irrespective of the cast, creed, religion, age, gender can avail the benefit of the scheme
  • Medical insurance benefits will turn out to be a boon for the residents
  • This scheme will enable to maintain a balance of life and health of the people

Registration Details:

  • Registration under the scheme started from April 1, 2021
  • Time period allotted for registration of beneficiaries is April 1, 2021 to April 30, 2021
  • Government will conduct special campaign for conducting various camps for registration of citizens from April 1 to April 10
  • For registering under the scheme, the beneficiary is required to visit the official website @ health.rajasthan.gov.in

  • Click on the application link for registration followed by ‘Redirect to SSO’

  • Page will be redirected, then accordingly start with the registration
  • After registration, login accordingly and click on the link for ABMGRSBY application
  • Fill in the application with required details and submit accordingly
  • Registration can also be done from camps organised by the government
  • Registration process will be monitored by the District Collectors
  • For registering under this scheme, citizens will require Jan Aadhaar card and Aadhaar Card mandatory
