Madhya Pradesh government has launched Mukhya Mantri Covid-19 Yoddha Kalyan Yojana again across the state. In view of the prevalent second wave of the pandemic this scheme is being relaunched. Initially it was launched during the last year for all the front-line health workers. The announcement was made by CM, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. This scheme now covers all the health care workers as well as personnel from revenue, local bodies, ASHA workers and urban development houses. Under this scheme, in case of death of any worker due to covid while on duty, the government will provide an honorarium of Rs. 50 lakhs to the family. All the said workers across the state will be covered in this scheme.

- Thereby the claim will be passed and amount will be transferred to the account of the person concerned
- Government included Covid-19 Yoddha in the scheme name aptly considering the relentless on field service of workers as warriors in the covid crisis.
