The Mukhya Mantri Protsahan Yojana started by Himachal Pradesh government for providing financial support to all meritorious students in Himachal Pradesh state. The government will provide one-time incentive/Awards of Rs. 75, 000 to all those students of the state who are selected and accept admission for degree education in any Indian Institute of Technology or All India Institute of Medical of Medical Science (AIPMT), and for a Post Graduate Diploma Course in any Indian Institute of Management (IIM).  The students scoring well in their HSC and entrance examination of particular college are awarded the scholarship for their further education. Those who are meritorious and belong to Himachal Pradesh state are eligible to receive benefits under this scheme.

Benefits of Mukhya Mantri Protsahan Yojana:

  • The government will provide the benefits of Rs. 7500 for Himachali students, who are selected for higher education
  • The students will get the scholarship annually, equivalent to the length of course.

Eligibility for Mukhya Mantri Protsahan Yojana:

  1. Applicant must be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh
  2. Students must have first-class score (60% and above)
  3. Students must clear JEE, AIPMT, examination

Application procedure for Mukhya Mantri Protsahan Yojana:

  1. The eligible candidate has to submit a copy of online scholarship form and attested copy of all documents to head of the Institute
  2. An officer of that institute will check all the details and complete online verification and forward printed form and verified candidate list to this Directorate, for online verification

 Documents required for applying Mukhya Mantri Protsahan Yojana :

  1. Previous year result
  2. Passport size photo
  3. Domicile certificate of Himachal Pradesh
  4. Adhar Card
  5. Bank details of students
  6. Selection letter of IIM/IIT/IIS
