Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched a social welfare scheme called the Madhya Pradesh Residential Land Rights scheme (Mukhyamantri Awasiya Bhu Adhikar Yojana). Under the scheme state government will distribute free residential land to poorly selected beneficiaries to construct their houses. The land of the plot will be provided free of cost to selected beneficiaries.
As of now 10,918 families received plots worth about 129 crore rupees in the Tikamgarh district in M.P. Scheme benefits will be provided to the entire state soon.
