In order to promote education in Madhya Pradesh, the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan launches Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana for higher education of the meritorious students of the state.

Under Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana, the government will pay all the fees of meritorious students of the state. Meritorious students will also get other various benefits by the government under this scheme.The government will pay fees of all courses in any college, university, and schools which are recognized by the governing board. Job for 2 years is also mandatory for students after completion of courses. The government will pay the fees of students in various government colleges and Universities like ITI, National Law College, and other government institutes. Government will provide cash award to students who performed well in exams under this scheme

Benefits of Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana:

• The government will pay the fees in the case of admission in Government Colleges
• Madhya Pradesh government will bear the fee of the students after 12^th
• Under Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana meritorious students who will get 1^st, 2^ndand 3^rdposition in examination will also get a cash award from the government
• 1^stCash Award Rs. 1 lac /-
  
• 2^ndCash Award Rs. 75,000 /-
  
• 3^rdCash Award Rs. 50,000 /-
  

Eligibility of Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana:

1. The students who got more than 75% marks in 12^th class will be eligible for this scheme
2. The students should be the permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh to take the benefit of this scheme
3. After the completion of the degree, the students have to work for 2 years according to the officials
4. The beneficiary’s students have also made a bond of Rs. 10 Lakh with the government
5. The annual income of the parents of students eligible for Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana MP should not be more than Rs.6 Lakh per annum

Document Required for Applying Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana: 

1. Income certificate not exceeding more than Rs. 6,00,000/- (Lakh)
2. Domicile certificate
3. Residence proof e.g. certificate from residence authority
4. Aadhar card
5. Bank Details e.g. IFSC Code, MICR code, Account number, Account holder name, Branch name
6. School Mark sheets and Certificates
7. Bonafide certificate
8. Passport size photograph

Application Procedure for Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana:

1. The government official will contact you after getting specific percentage in the 12^th standard
2. Applicant should contact the respective principal of the college to get more information about the scheme and for application form
